Gorton ran Teladoc as CEO and Chairman for the first seven years of operations. Under his term, the company grew from a concept to one of the most recognized innovations in healthcare, with nearly two million patient members nationwide.
Under the Teladoc model, physicians made more and patients paid less. Teladoc was studied and advocated by most of the major healthcare think tanks and was recently named one of the most innovative companies in healthcare. Teladoc recently entered the NYSE and now has a market cap of over $30B. Michael’s decades of experience as a strategic visionary, impacting the telecommunications, music and healthcare industries include a leadership role as a founder of Principal Solar where he applied his business expertise, scientific education and training to the renewable energy sector -- a strong voice and proponent of solar power.
He has served as a partner of the Texas Acceleration Group (TAG), an entity formed to assist startup companies and participated as a founder of Palo Duro Records. He is also credited as a founder of Internet Global, a company that delivered the first DSL network and one of the first VOIP networks.
Prior to this, he worked as a project engineer at Dallas Power & Light dealing with power plants, distribution, transformer management and integration of renewable energy into the grid. Michael earned a B.S. in engineering from Texas Tech, an M.S. in Physics from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Juris Doctorate from Texas A&M.

Janet Trautwein is the Chief Executive Officer of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) and President of the National Association of Health Underwriters Education Foundation in Washington, D.C.
NAHU represents employee benefits professionals involved in the design, implementation and management of health plans all over the United States, as well as other health insurance professionals who work with individuals and seniors to find the best health plan.
A frequent speaker on health policy issues, Janet has expertise in issues related to health insurance markets, the uninsured, risk and reinsurance pooling, benefits related tax and tax-preferred account issues and both national and global health care.
Janet holds a degree in Government and International Affairs from George Mason University where she graduated summa cum laude and a Masters degree in Health Economics, Health Policy, and Health Management from the London School of Economics.

David Bronstein, MD
Dr. David Bronstein is the Physician Marketing Leader for the Antelope Valley. In this role, he partners with members of the Kaiser Permanente Account Management Team. Team members call on current and future Kaiser Permanente Health Plan clients to share with them the advantages of fully integrated health care and KP Health Connect®.
Dr. Bronstein received his medical degree from UC San Diego. He completed residency training in pediatrics and fellowship training in pediatric infectious disease at UCLA, where he also received a public health degree. In 2007, he joined Kaiser Permanente’s Antelope Valley Medical Center, where he is currently an elected member of the Southern California Permanente Medical Group Board of Directors and the Assistant Area Medical Director, overseeing Pediatrics, Mental Health, Care Experience, and Equity, Inclusion and Diversity, Vaccination Programs, and Continuing Medical Education. Dr. Bronstein manages a thriving panel of general pediatric patients and practices infectious disease in both outpatient and hospital settings.
Dr. Bronstein is an avid lifelong learner and is passionate about teaching. He educates physicians and staff throughout Southern California about the importance of vaccinations, and he lectures in the Antelope Valley on such topics as the care experience, improving clinician-patient communication, and culturally responsive care. Dr. Bronstein has authored numerous journal publications and textbook chapters on infectious disease topics, and he has written and directed a series of waiting room videos advocating colorectal cancer screening, mammography, and diabetes management.
While he thoroughly enjoys being at work, Dr. Bronstein also cherishes spending his time off with his wife and two kids. Dr. Bronstein attempts to stay in shape by running a few times a week, playing tennis, riding his Peloton and road bike, and taking boxing and martial arts classes. To relax, he enjoys listening to jazz and watching movies and television, though not more than the one to two hours per day recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Julian entered the insurance industry as a college agent with New England Life and shortly after graduation moved to Florida and became a consultant with Northwestern Mutual Life.
